The Dhaka Times Desk A campaign titled Bangladesh Challenge has been started with the aim of connecting the information of necessary places including one's home, hospital and pharmacy to a map in the global pandemic deadly corona situation.
This campaign has started from April 8. It will continue till April 31. Bangladesh Scouts, private telecom company Grameenphone and ICT Division's A2I program are working to implement the project started with the slogan "It is possible to show the way by sitting at home".
On that day (April 8) this campaign was inaugurated online by the Minister of State for Information and Communication Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak.
In the speech of the Chief Guest in the online press conference organized on this occasion, the ICT State Minister said that in addition to providing various services including education, health, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina government is delivering relief assistance to people from door to door.
The state minister also said that it will be possible to deal with the corona situation by connecting the entire map of the country to the digital searching map in critical moments.
Calling on all the young people of the country to connect the information map of the important facilities and places of their area from home, the Minister of State for Information and Communication further said that besides the creation of digital Bangladesh, the youth should come forward more and more in the creation of human Bangladesh.
In the event, it was informed that Grameenphone's own mapping system, including Google Maps and Open Street Maps, can be linked to the necessary information of any necessary place, including schools, homes, hospitals and pharmacies.
