Earlier, Malaysian police arrested more than 14,000 people for violating the Movement Control Order (MCO). Between March 18 and April 14, 14,922 people were arrested for violating the MCO.

A total of 3,622 people were arrested in the first phase. In the second phase, 7,668 people were arrested.

Out of which 5 thousand 830 people were accused in court. It has been informed that all those arrested in the third phase will be charged in court. Violating the MCO is no small crime. If everyone doesn't comply, it is supposed to be a big disaster for the country.

From now on, the police of the country will hand over those who disobeyed the control order directly to the court after remanding them. This announcement was made by the country's Defense Minister Ismail Sabri Yakub.
