Along with that, the concerned persons have also been instructed to refund the visa fee.
This information was reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) and the country's English daily Saudi Gazette, citing the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.
Several Saudi diplomatic missions issue visas for private sector workers, the report said. Even those with visas issued by local embassies who could not return due to the suspension of international flights have been ordered to cancel their visas.
However, the report did not say anything about the cancellation of visas issued by the Saudi government's Ministry of Human Resource Development for importing workers from different countries against local companies.
According to the responsible sources of the ministry, the validity of the visa stamped in the passport by Saudi embassies and missions abroad is 3 months. The visa holder is also required to fly within three months. However, since the international communication system with Saudi Arabia has been closed since March 18, only those who could not fly with visas have had their visas cancelled.
It has been reported that when Saudi Arabia's communication system with the outside world is normalized again due to the Corona virus, the related institutions will be able to apply for new visa stamping at the embassy.
