He also said, 'After Corona, the amount of revenue collection in the big cities of the world may decrease by 15 to 25 percent.'
Many city authorities also do not have adequate information about the condition of slums. This World Bank official believes that the way to help them has become more difficult. For that purpose, the World Bank has also started a program to identify areas where social distancing becomes ineffective due to crowding and lack of water-toilet facilities in the world's big cities using artificial intelligence (AI), high-resolution satellite images and 3-D images. So far this technology has been used for the cities of Mumbai, Cairo and Kinshasa.
