This difference is actually in words. When shot into the earth it makes a very loud sound. But no gunshots can be heard in space. But this is not the end. Whoever pulls the trigger of the gun in this space will have to face a strange situation.
According to Newton's third law of motion, as soon as the gun is pointed and fired, the shooter will be thrown in the opposite direction as a counter-reaction to the discharge of the gun.

On the other hand, a bullet fired from a Point Five Zero caliber pistol has a velocity of about 1,330 miles per hour. That is, its bullet velocity is less than AK-47 bullet velocity. However, the weight of the Smith & Wesson bullet will be about twice the weight of the AK-47 bullet.
That's why when you fire a Smith & Wesson pistol, you have to knock back twice as fast as an AK-47. That speed will be- 136.10 miles per hour; Which is enough to circle a football stadium in half an hour!
But another danger of shooting into space is that one's own life may end. Finally, a bullet fired forward may turn the other way and hit itself in the back. Since there are no deterrents in space, it wouldn't take long for the bullet to hit the back of someone orbiting a planet!
