Dogs will identify corona patients!

The Dhaka Times Desk British researchers are testing whether dogs can identify patients with the coronavirus without any tests.

Recently, the British government has announced that 500,000 pounds is being spent on this research. Durham University's London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and the British organization Medical Detection Dog are conducting the research jointly. News Reuters.

British minister James Bethell said that trained dogs are able to detect cancer patients. I think it will be possible to identify corona infected patients by adopting this method.

For that reason, 6 dogs will be allowed to sniff the samples of corona patients from the London hospital. They will be exposed to the smell of infected and non-infected people separately.

In the past, dogs have been successfully diagnosed with cancer, malaria and Parkinson's disease. Researchers in the United States and France are also moving towards identifying corona patients through dogs.
