Their research report highlighted that corona can spread from one person to another very easily through the surface of the mobile phone.
Major Dr. Rashid Al Ghafri said that we have also analyzed various mobile phones. We found hundreds of bacterial pathogens on the surface of the phone. Mobile phones carry infectious pathogens such as bacteria and viruses such as corona. It is believed that phones may play the role of 'Trojan horse' in the spread of corona during this pandemic.
According to research, these pathogens are easily transmitted through phones. Through this, the corona infection may spread widely in workplaces, public transport, cruise ships and airplanes.
Rashid Al-Ghafri also told the media that mobile phones generate heat during use. This further helps the microbes to survive and reproduce for a long time. Phones also help in the transmission of various viruses including the corona virus.
The study was recently published in the journal Travel Medicine and Infectious Diseases. These scientists reviewed all studies and journals analyzing the microorganisms found on mobile phones before publishing research conclusions.
Gaffri also said that contaminated mobile phones pose a real biosecurity risk. Mobile phones help germs to spread easily. The reason is that if a person is infected with a virus, it is very likely that their mobile phones will also be infected.
