The Dhaka Times Desk Hero Alamm was supposed to work in a new film of Anant Jalil. Anant Jalil decided not to take him after taking an advance fee of 50,000 taka for that film. Hero Alam donated that money to the needy.
After agreeing to work in the film, Anant Jalil gave an advance of Tk 50 thousand to Hero Alam. He also took part in the photo shoot. But for some reasons, Anant decided not to take Hero Alam in the film. Anant Jalil announced that recently in a Facebook status.
He said on Facebook, I don't want to take him in my picture. However, he does not want to return the 50,000 rupees paid to Hero Alam. Donated that money to him. In response to this comment, Ashraful Alam aka Hero Alam came on Facebook Live and announced that he will not accept the money donated by Anant Jalil. Distribute that money among people. Finally he did.
Hero Alam distributed relief among the flood victims by pushing the flood water with that money. On July 27, he personally appeared in the flooded area in Sariakandi of Bogra district and distributed relief.
He said to the media about this matter, 'Many people are not eating due to the flood. I do not have the capacity to do anything worth mentioning for them. I tried my best. But the rich people of the society should stand beside the flood victims. If they come forward, these people will benefit a lot.'
About 1 lakh rupees relief has been distributed, said Hero Alam. He said that the 50,000 rupees given by Anant Jalil is also included. Hero Alam gave a total of 1000 taka per head to 100 families including a lungi, a saree and food.
When this issue came up, Hero Alam said with a smile, 'Anant Jalil bhai gave me 50 thousand rupees when I signed a contract for his film. Later after deduction I tried to return that money. But he didn't take it. There is no decision to distribute the money to the flood victims after various attempts to give the money failed. I can be poor, so I don't enjoy the hard earned money. That too by announcing on Facebook when someone donates to me!'
Many people are suffering due to flood, I thought to try a little. For which I made this plan. If possible, I will help the flood victims a lot.
