An Israeli official told the media on condition of anonymity that Israel has no connection with this incident.
Calling the blast an accident, Israeli Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi said in an interview on local television that it was just an accident, caused by fire.
Al Arabiya said in a news that Israel offered to send humanitarian aid to Lebanon on Tuesday after the incident. In this regard, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, I have also given instructions to the National Security Council in this regard. They will be in contact with the UN envoy for Middle East affairs, Nikolay Mladenov. If we discuss with him, we will understand whether we can help Lebanon.
On the other hand, Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz and Foreign Minister said that they want to help Lebanon through the mediation of international organizations. If possible, medical and humanitarian aid will be sent there. Along with that, other essential services will also be provided.
