Che Guevara's house was announced for sale!

According to a BBC report, Francisco Farrugia, the current owner of Che Guevara's house, confirmed the sale of the historic building.

He said that he bought the 2,580 square feet apartment in 2002. It is built in a neo-classical structure building located in the city center. He had plans to build a cultural center in this apartment. But he could not implement that plan.

Many celebrities have visited this apartment in the past few years. Among them were the children of former Uruguayan president Jose Pepe Mujica and the late legendary Cuban revolutionary leader Fidel Castro. Alberto Grandos, one of Che's friends, also came.

In the fifties of the last century, the young doctor Che traveled around South America on a motorcycle to treat the Grandos. In 2011, he also went to the land of no return.

Che Guevara was born in 1928 in an upper middle class family. But the poverty and hunger of the people of the South American region is deeply scarred in his mind. He chose the path of a revolution to break economic inequality and liberate people.

In 1953-59, Che played a special role in the overthrow of Fulgencio Batista, a hero in Cuba. Che Guevara also planned to spread this revolution to other developing countries including South America. That's why he still holds a place in the hearts of the people of the world as a revolutionary.
