Doyle, 35, went swimming on a beach on the mid-north coast of New South Wales. Husband Mark Rapley was surfing nearby. A little conversation was going on between the two at that time. In the meantime, Doyoli suddenly shouted. From the surfing board, Rapple sees his wife being attacked by a huge shark. His right leg was bitten. He is trying hard to get rid of it. However, his wife Doyle is not able to cope with the great white shark.

But the unstoppable shark, he is not retreating even after hitting the board again and again. Seeing no way out, the husband immediately jumped into the water. Elopathari started punching the shark with all his might. Finally the white water monster let go of Doyoli's legs. Rapley took his wife to the beach. Then a helicopter ambulance arrived and Dooley was taken to the hospital.
Andrew Beverley, Ambulance Service Inspector, said: "The way members of Rappley and Surf Life Saving rescued Doyley before we or the paramedics arrived was truly remarkable. Had they not taken such immediate action, the woman might not have been saved.
Experts from Port Macquarie said Doyle was attacked by a great white shark, possibly 10 feet long and ferocious. His right leg was severely damaged by the shark bite.
