We have some unique records that shock everyone. A child named Lina Medina, a resident of the South American country of Peru, owns such an extraordinary record. This child holds the record of becoming a mother at the youngest age in the history of the world. Unbelievable fact is, Lina was only 5 years old when she gave birth to her first child!
This child was born on September 27, 1933 in a small town called Tricapo in Peru. When Lina was only 5 years old, her parents noticed that her stomach suddenly began to swell. They initially thought Lina might have a stomach ailment. Or maybe he has a tumor in his stomach. Deeply worried, they took Lina to a doctor. Doctors conduct various tests on little Lina for various diseases. However, he could not catch any disease.
Finally found out that Lina is pregnant, this 5-year-old child is about to give birth! Doctors were shocked after this discovery. Then Lina was admitted to the hospital and a group of doctors checked and confirmed this. On May 14, 1939, at the age of only 5 years, 7 months and 17 days, baby Lina gave birth to a son. Doctors had to operate. The son Lina gave birth to was healthy. Coincidentally, that same day is also celebrated as Mother's Day in Peru.
Lina got married after a long time i.e. in 1972. She worked as a nurse. His child lived for 40 years.
The question of how Lina got pregnant at such a young age has not been answered till date. It is believed that she was probably raped by someone from the family or neighbours. But the mystery remains as to how it is possible to have a child at the age of 5.
Conventional medical science says that if girls do not reach puberty, their bodies cannot produce the hormones required to have children. So this phenomenon was not only surprising to the doctors but also impossible. Medical experts till date have not found any answer to the riddle of Lina's motherhood. It's really a mysterious event!
