The farmer's son wanted to ride in a helicopter. His farmer father fulfilled his son's dream. That's why father took time for 27 long years. A sensational incident happened in Sahta village of Sahta union in Barhatta upazila of Netrakona district.
According to media sources, Mehdi Hasan Khan Roni, the eldest son of Netrakona farmer Abul Mansoor Khan, saw the helicopter flying in his childhood and asked his father to ride in the helicopter. His son was only 8 years old then. At that time, father said, ok, after growing up, I will marry you in a helicopter.
His father did not forget that. Finally, after 27 years, the father flew the wedding ceremony of his son in a helicopter. For this, he had to spend 3 lakhs! In addition to fulfilling his son's hobby, it also became a memory of his life.
The wedding of newlywed engineer Jannatul Ferdous Alifa and groom Mehdi Hasan Khan Roni was completed in a family style. The bride is the elder daughter of Alamgir Kabir, a businessman of Bailey Road, Dhaka.
This groom's father. Abul Mansoor Khan is a farmer. He sold his land to fulfill his son's dream. He is very happy to fulfill his son's dream. The locals are also very happy about this.
In this regard, son's father Abul Mansoor Khan said, on the wedding day i.e. Friday at 12 noon, his son left to get married on a helicopter. On that day, the wedding ceremony was organized at home.
Engineer Mehdi Hasan Khan Roni told the media, I had a long dream to ride a helicopter. That dream has really come true today. I am very grateful to my father for that.
In this regard, local UP Chairman Paltan Sarkar said, this is the first incident of wedding in a helicopter in our area. As far as I know, there has never been a case of someone getting married like this in Sahta Union of Barhatta Upazila.
