The woman alleged that Tausif Mahbub had taken around Tk 5 lakh from her at different times under the guise of modeling. He filed a GD (No-755) in Hatijheel police station of the capital. Actor Tausif filed a counter-GD (No-868) in Dhanmondi police station citing 'false allegations' in this incident. On the morning of January 16, the woman complainant, Samchunnahar Kana, made a general diary (GD) at the capital's Hatirjheel police station. After that, Tausif countered in the same night.
The woman alleged in her GD that Kanar met Tausif Mahbub on Facebook 18 months ago. After getting to know each other, he took 20 thousand taka from that woman on 016**978909 number 6 months ago. Then Tausif through the third party Shahria Hossain took another 3 lakh 20 thousand rupees at various times through Sonali Bank, Sahapur Branch, Chatkhil, Noakhali Account No. 34100441. Tausif did not contact the girl after taking the money. He also blocked all the phone numbers he used.
Samshunnahar's daughter-in-law said that she met actor Tausif Mahbub on Facebook 2 years ago. Then he asked me to make a model and took about 5 lakhs from me.
On the other hand, after the allegations made by Samchunnahar's daughter-in-law, Tausif Mahbub mentioned in his GD that the allegations made by a housewife named Samchunnahar's daughter-in-law (36) are completely false and baseless. That GD has been purposefully done against me with the aim of degrading my dignity and making me socially inferior.
Tausif Mahbub also said, My Facebook ID is Facebook verified. If someone goes to the wrong place and falls victim to fraud, is it my responsibility? But who will take responsibility for this false accusation that I am being harassed mentally and socially?
