But the thing to note is that the entire family is a highly educated family. Accused father Mallaru Purushottam Naidu, Vice Principal of Government College. The mother of the two daughters is Padmajao, a gold medalist in mathematics and a professor in a private college.
Their elder daughter, who was killed by her parents, was working as an Indian Forest Service officer. The 27-year-old came home due to the lockdown and was also preparing for the IAS exam. The 23-year-old younger daughter was studying music at the AR Rehman Academy after completing her MBA.
The police said that the family came to Shivnagar's house a few days ago. According to local sources, the entire family was very religious and regularly performed pujas at home during the lockdown.
According to the details of the incident, they claim that they have the power to revive dead people. This highly educated couple killed two young girls based on this superstition. On being informed about the incident, the police broke the door and entered the house to find two dead bodies lying on the floor. And then the blood is floating around.
But those parents have no heldol. Instead, they stopped the police and said, 'Get out of here.' Give us the night. We will save them.' The police did not respond to their words and recovered the two bodies and sent the post-mortem and arrested the accused parents.
It is to be noted that to test how much they were able to achieve the 'sanjeevani mantra' of bringing dead people back to life, Valleru Purushottam Naidu and Padmajadevi hit two girls on the head with dumbbells from behind. Then they died. Police are investigating the incident.
