The bike will be used only for exhibition as motorcycles of such high cc are not approved in Bangladesh. The Yamaha YZF-R1M is based on the concept of the Yamaha M1, which has stormed the racing tracks like MotoGP, WSBK for the past 7 decades.
It features a carbon body cowl, electronic control technology and electronic racing suspension. Used new Olins NPX gas forks.
The bike is powered by a forward-inclined parallel 4-cylinder, 4-valve four stroke liquid cooled DOHC engine. This bike has a compressor ratio of 13.0:1, overall height of 1150 mm and displacement of 998 cc. Maximum Power – 147.1 kW @ 13500 rpm and Maximum Torque – 112.4 Nm @ 11500 rpm.
Clutch type- wet, multiple disc and electric start system. The fuel consumption of the bike is 7.2 liters/100 km.
