The Dhaka Times Desk We often curse someone in anger or rage. But this cursing is not right at all. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) himself forbade cursing.
When people face a problem, they pray to Allah to get rid of it. Many times, when sad or angry, he curses his children and his wealth and dignity.
Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam warned the Muslim Ummah about this, not to make bad supplications to Allah regarding family and wealth.
This is because there is a time when supplications, curses or curses; Whatever you do, it is accepted by Allah. The matter which the Holy Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam has clearly described in hadith.
Hazrat Jaber Ibn Abdullah Radiyallahu Anhu narrates that the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, "Never curse yourselves."
Never curse your children; Do not curse your servants and do not curse your wealth. Because there is a special moment when a dua (or bad-dua) is granted. So your bad prayer should not coincide with that moment. (Muslim, Abu Dawud)
So may Allah Ta'ala grant tawfiq to the Muslim Ummah to refrain from all kinds of wrongdoing - Ameen. One should refrain from cursing or cursing for oneself, one's family, wealth and dignity in all circumstances, whether in happiness or in sadness.
