2 people were also killed in Mandalay, Myanmar's second largest city. There, the local police attacked the protestors since morning. Protesters and police also clashed in the northeastern city of Lashio and the southern city of Mayi.
Following the imposition of martial law, the military arrested political leaders including Suu Kyi and President Win Myint. The protests against the junta rulers are getting stronger day by day. The country's security forces are also strengthening repression.
