In 1971, a young Frenchman, Jacques Way, hijacked a Pakistani plane to help Bangladesh during the Great War of Liberation. Because of which he became a genuine friend of Bangladesh. The purpose of hijacking the plane was to deliver 20 tons of medicine to the freedom-seeking people of East Pakistan. All the passengers of the plane will be released only if his condition is fulfilled. Because it is necessary to provide medical services to save the war victims of East Pakistan.
Fakhrul Arefin Khan, the director of 'Bhuvan Majhi' and 'Gandi', is going to direct a film based on this real incident. This film is named 'JK 1971'. He made this announcement at a hotel in the capital on the night of March 9.
Fakhrul Arefin Khan said that a total of 36 actors are acting in his new film. Kolkata's Sabyasachi Chakraborty and Sourav Shubra Das are the finalists among them. The remaining 34 are all foreigners.
The shooting of 'JK 1971' will begin in the middle of next month. The entire work is expected to be completed by August. Director Fakhrul Arefin has expressed hope that the film will be released on December 3.
