A case has already been filed against Sayem Sobhan Anveer, Managing Director (MD) of Bashundhara Group, one of the country's top local businessmen. The case was filed by the girl's sister. The girl named Mosarat Jahan Munia studied in a college in Dhaka. The 21-year-old girl lived alone in that flat in Gulshan. The girl's house is in Comilla city. His family also lives there. His body was found 'hanging from a ceiling fan', police said.
According to the police, Mosarat Jahan had a special relationship with the managing director of a leading business organization of the country.
The police also found out that the businessman used to travel to Mosarat's flat. Police have also seized CCTV camera footage and digital devices used by Mosarat.
The girl's sister filed a case as a plaintiff in Gulshan police station. According to the source of the case, it is known that the relationship between the top businessman and the girl was two years. The businessman kept the girl in a flat in Banani for a year. The girl moved to this flat in Gulshan last March. The monthly rent of this flat is one lakh taka. Two lakh rupees has been given in advance. Two months' rent has already been paid. On April 23, an iftar party was held at that house. After uploading the picture of the party on Facebook, the businessman started quarreling with the girl. Later, the girl called her sister and told her that she was in trouble. After this call, the young woman's sister came to Dhaka from Comilla last Monday afternoon. But he found the door of Gulshan's flat locked from inside. Later, the door was broken and the girl's body was found hanging in the bedroom. There are many mysteries about how the girl died or why she committed suicide. One of his phone conversations with the businessman has spread on social media. The question whether the girl was pregnant or not has been raised, many mysteries have been created. Those concerned believe that many questions can be answered after receiving his post-mortem report.
