It is known that symptoms of corona were observed in the bodies of those 8 lions for several days. Similarly, the lions of the park authorities have been tested for corona. Veterinarian of Nehru Zoological Park in this regard. Kukreti said, "The RT-PCR test of the lions found corona germs in their bodies. Nothing can be said in detail about this right now. But the lions are fine. They have been kept in separate rooms for observation.”
However, the park authorities have not yet got a clear answer on how the virus spread to the animals. However, the park's gates were closed to the public indefinitely a few days ago to prevent the spread of the virus.
However, the primary assumption is that the infection may have spread to the lion's body from the people coming to the park or from the body of a worker in charge of animal care in the park.
It should be noted that 25 workers who were in charge of the park were found to have corona virus in their bodies. The park authorities are worried about whether this virus has somehow spread from their bodies to the animals
