ভারতীয় মুদ্রায় এর বাজার দর ১ কোটি ২০ লাখ রুপি, বাংলাদেশী টাকায় প্রায় দেড় কোটি টাকার মতো। সম্প্রতি জেলার পক্ষ থেকে হীরার সন্ধান পাওয়ার বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করা হয়।
জেলার সংশ্লিষ্ট বিভাগের কর্মকর্তা রাভি প্যাটেল জানিয়েছেন, পান্না জেলা শহরের বাসিন্দা সুশীল শুকলা ও তার সহযোগী কৃষ্ণা কল্যাণপুর এলাকায় একটি অগভীর খনির মধ্যে হীরার সন্ধান পেয়েছেন। সরকারের রয়্যালিটি এবং ট্যাক্সের শর্ত মোতাবেক এটি শীঘ্রই নিলামে তোলা হবে বলেও জানিয়েছেন তিনি।
সংবাদ মাধ্যমের খবরে জানা যায়, শুকলা একজন ছোট ইটভাটার ব্যবসায়ী, তিনি জমিটি ভাড়া নিয়েছেন। তিনি ও তার পরিবার গত ২০ বছর ধরে এই ধরনের খনিতে কাজ করছেন। তবে এবারই প্রথম তিনি এতোদামি হীরার সন্ধান পেলেন।
মতিলাল জানিয়েছেন, অগভীর খনিটি তিনি ৫ জন অংশীদারের সঙ্গে লিজ নিয়েছিলেন। আশাবাদ ব্যক্ত করে তিনি বলেন, হীরা বিক্রি করে যে টাকা হবে তাতে তিনি একটি ব্যবসা চালু করতে পারবেন। রাজ্যের রাজধানী ভোপাল থেকে ৩৮০ কিলোমিটার দূরে অবস্থিত এই পান্না জেলাটি। সংশ্লিষ্ট কর্মকর্তারা জানিয়েছেন, সেখানে ১২ লাখ ক্যারেট মূল্যের হীরা রয়েছে বলে মনে করা হচ্ছে। তথ্যসূত্র: https://www.catchnews.com
