This Indian variant has been found in at least 44 countries around the world. As soon as this information comes to hand, the concerned experts are worried. Preliminary studies show that this variant is the most infectious.
The B1.617 variant of Covid-19 was first detected in India in October, the World Health Organization said. Around 4,500 samples of this new form of corona have been found in the world. This variant is also seen as the cause of the rise in infection rates outside of India, mainly in Britain.
An NDTV report said that earlier this week, the World Health Organization announced that there are 3 more subspecies of the Corona B.1.617 variant. A few preliminary studies have shown that this variant is more infectious, but the potency of all subspecies is not yet understood. More information is needed. Variants are much scarier than the original Corona.
Meanwhile, it has been clearly stated by the World Health Organization that the B.1.617 variant can be suppressed with vaccines, drugs and current medical procedures.
