Oakland port workers took action as part of a global boycott campaign against Israeli forces' brutality against Palestinians.
Pro-Palestinian American protesters banned the anchoring and unloading of Israeli ships in the port of Oakland to protest the brutal aggression of the Zionist forces on the besieged Gaza Strip. Due to which the ship was finally forced to leave the port of Oakland. At this time, the port workers and other protesters also protested there against Israel.
Wasim Hayes, one of the organizers of the protest, told reporters, "Today we demonstrated on behalf of the city of Oakland that we do not want to allow the racist money of Israel to come into our country under any circumstances. We will not trade with Israel either."
It should be noted that recently Italian port workers also took such a step. They refused to load weapons on an Israeli ship in protest of the invasion of Gaza and in support of Palestine.
