Although 18 volunteers were scheduled to perform the test, several volunteers eventually withdrew their names. Due to which the experiment could not be done on a large scale. ICMR, however, has also highlighted the importance of cocktail vaccines in their report. DCGI has said that they will conduct the test on a larger scale this time.
Meanwhile, vaccination has gained momentum in India in the last few months. Many people received two doses of the vaccine. But even that cannot prevent corona. Many people get the delta version despite receiving two doses of the vaccine. According to virologists, it is not possible to prevent delta and delta plus variants in the current vaccination.

Further research on the subject has been initiated. DCGI is also going to start the same test. The examination is scheduled to begin this month at the Christian Medical College, Vellore.
According to experts, if the cocktail vaccine trial is successful, it will be possible to benefit many people. Because many with Covishield are still waiting for the second dose. After waiting 6 weeks they will receive the second dose. If the new test is successful, it will be possible to bring them to the cocktail vaccine facility.
