A recent study shows that this unpopular vegetable can eliminate deadly diseases like cancer and diabetes. Scientists have come to know about the role of bitter gourd in diabetes earlier in the study of Bardem Hospital in Bangladesh.

Corolla is very low in calories and contains potassium, beta-carotene, manganese, magnesium, high dietary fiber, vitamins B1, B2, B3 and C, folate, zinc and phosphorus.
