জাপানি সম্প্রচার মাধ্যম এনএইচকে’র বরাত দিয়ে বার্তা সংস্থা রয়টার্স এই খবর দিয়েছে। আর এর মধ্যদিয়ে জাপানের প্রথম নারী প্রধানমন্ত্রী হতে চলেছেন সানাই তাকাইচি। ইতিপূর্বে আগামী ২৯ সেপ্টেম্বরে ক্ষমতাসীন দল এলডিপির প্রেসিডেন্ট পদের দৌঁড়েও আইনপ্রণেতাদের সমর্থন আদায়ের চেষ্টা করেন সানাই তাকাইচি।
সংবাদ মাধ্যমের খবরে আরও জানা যায় যে, দেশটির পার্লামেন্টে এলডিপির সংখ্যাগরিষ্ঠতা থাকায় দলটির নেতাও হবেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী। সানাই তাকাইচি জাপানেরর সাবেক প্রধানমন্ত্রী শিনজো অ্যাবেরও সমর্থনও পেয়েছেন। যে কারণে তাঁর প্রধানমন্ত্রী হতে কোনো বাধা নেই।
