The Dhaka Times Desk Hinduism once had co-death. However, it was compulsory and was similar to the burning of the wife on the pyre by the husband. But this time a husband set a precedent of love. He jumped on his wife's pyre!

Last month's Kalahandi incident in Odisha, India, is somewhat reminiscent of that co-death incident. However, in this case, the opposite happened. A husband himself jumped on his wife's pyre in Kalahandi. Totally self-willed.
The husband did not want to leave the person he loved alone. That is why the husband wanted to go to the other side with his wife. Therefore, the story of the inexhaustible pull of love is now returning to India's Kalahandi.
The deceased wife's name is Rayavati Sabar. He is 57 years old. The resident of Golamunda Block, Kalahandi, Odisha, India, died of heart attack. However, her husband Neelmani Sabar could not accept the death of his wife at all. The 60-year-old man is a member of the local panchayat. Grieving the loss of his wife forever, the husband jumps into the burning pyre of his wife. As a result, he was severely burned.
Kalahandi SP Vivek Sarvana said that the woman died on Tuesday. Her husband and four children and relatives took the body to the village crematorium for cremation. Then after performing the cremation ritual, the body is taken to the pyre. When everyone was going home from the crematorium, Neelmani suddenly ran and jumped into the cheetah, surprising everyone present.
The local SP told the media that he was badly burnt before his relatives pulled him down from the burning pyre and he was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment.
