Mehtab Jahan, the principal of Rasulpur Government Girls High School, said, I was transferred here two years ago. I am amazed at the extraordinary example of responsibility of the people here. No one litters the streets here, no one in the entire village smokes.
Population of Rasulpur is not much. Most of the 2/3 thousand inhabitants are ethnic Ahmadi Baloch. Their ancestors migrated from Baluchistan province of Pakistan to South Punjab district in 1933-34. They had no permanent source of income at that time. Hence they choose education as their source of livelihood.
Mehtab said, there is no evaluation of the definition of the rate of signature if the name can be signed. Everyone in this village has to finish at least high school. Otherwise the village elders do not give him any permission to participate in the society.
He also said that all the women of this village are educated. For this reason, children start their education as soon as they reach the age of 4-5 years. The village also has an organization that helps those who cannot afford the cost of education. Care is taken to ensure that no one drops out of school.
Delawar Salem, a resident of Rasulpur, said that the 100% education rate is not the only achievement of this village. There has not been a single criminal case against anyone in the village in the last 100 years. No one ever tries to cross the line in maintaining law and order situation. It is this rule that enables us to achieve zero crime.
