According to an AFP report, 6 women gathered in front of a high school in the eastern part of Kabul yesterday (Thursday) morning. After that, those women started a march demanding the inclusion of female students in the high school.
The placards in their hands read: 'Don't give us pens, don't burn our books, we want to study, let us enter the school'.
However, as they advanced a few steps, Taliban guards came forward, snatched the placards from their hands and prevented them from proceeding; But even then, when the women wanted to move forward, they were dispersed by firing blank bullets.
A journalist was present at the scene at that time. When he tried to take a picture, the Taliban guards hit him with the butt of a gun. He was also prevented from taking pictures.
Mawla Nasratullah, head of Kabul's Taliban guards, told AFP that the march was disbanded because it did not seek permission from the authorities.
In our country as in other countries, anyone has the right to protest, but before that, permission must be obtained from the appropriate authorities.
It should be noted that female students are not able to go to high school for almost two weeks in Afghanistan; Because the statement of the Taliban leaders is that the extent to which women can study will be determined and managed according to Islamic Sharia.
