With this new feature of Google Maps, where there is no road, users can also name the road. Not only that, this new feature will also have multiple facilities like correcting the wrong name of the road, deleting the wrong road from the map or changing the location of the road.
In this regard, Google said, to add a road to the map, users can first drop a pin, drag the pin along the road and give the corresponding name and then submit. Google has said that this step has been taken for the convenience of the public.
Users have to follow several guidelines from Google. Google will check if the correct route has been added at all. Strict action will also be taken in case of road connection for intentional harassment.
Moreover, after adding the road, Google will review it for 7 days. Also, Google is bringing another new feature called Photo Updates. It has also been reported that a short review can be written about any place by adding photos to this feature.
