It is virtually impossible to recover those chats that have disappeared. According to the new update rules, WhatsApp will not work on different smartphones. The company has already advised the customers about this. It has been reported that WhatsApp will support users to keep backup of chats on such mobile phones.
WhatsApp will not work on any phone?
This app will not work on phones with Android 4.0.4 or earlier operating system. In the case of iPhone, WhatsApp will not work on handsets that have ION 9 or earlier operating system. This app will not work on iOS powered phones either. You can check yourself whether this messaging app can be used on your mobile from November 1 or not.
For this first go to mobile settings. There click on about phone option. Then scroll down and you will see the Android version of your phone. If it is 4.0.4 or earlier operating system then you will also fall in this list. That means WhatsApp will become useless on your phone as well. What to do in this case? If you want, you can back up the chat on another device.
To do that go to chat option from settings. There you will find chat backup option. Now click on Backup from WhatsApp settings. Also, you can go to the menu with 3 dots in WhatsApp and export the chat if you want.
