Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Court Additional Public Prosecutor (APP) Tapas Kumar Pal confirmed this information to the media and said that James is a popular musician in Bangladesh. He has many popular songs. Banglalink is using James' song in their welcome tunes, advertisements and other media without taking any kind of permission from him. This activity of Banglalink basically involves breaking the copyright law. That's why James has applied to the court to file a case.
Previously, on the morning of September 19, James filed a case in the same court. At this time, the judge advised him to go to the police station (Gulshan Police Station) and file a case. He left the court premises around 1 pm on the advice of the judge. However, more details were not given.
