The Dhaka Times Desk After a long wait of eight months, the HSC and equivalent exams started today (Thursday). Due to Corona this year 6 paper exams of 3 optional subjects are being held.
Today (Thursday) was the first day of HSC Physics first paper exam for the students. The exam will be held at the beginning of the day from 10 am to 11:30 am and later from 2 pm to 3:30 pm. This year's exam will end on December 30.
This year 13 lakh 99 thousand 690 students are participating in the examination from all over the country. Out of which 7 lakh 29 thousand 738 students and 6 lakh 69 thousand 952 female students.
Meanwhile, it is known that in the HSC examination, the candidates of the science department will answer a total of 12 out of 25 MCQs. Time given is 15 minutes. Two out of 8 questions must be answered in the theory test. Time given is 1 hour 15 minutes. The room teachers will inform the candidates before the start of the exam. Candidates for humanities and business streams will have to answer 15 out of 30 MCQs. The time for that will be 15 minutes. 3 out of 11 questions must be answered in the theory test. Time will be one hour and 15 minutes.
There will be no break between MCQ and CQ part exam. Candidates must enter the center and take their seats at least 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the examination. If a candidate arrives at the examination center after the scheduled time due to unavoidable reasons, he/she should mention the name, roll number, time of entry and reason for delay in the register.
Recently, the Ministry of Education has requested only one parent to accompany an examinee in order to prevent corona infection. It has also been requested not to crowd the gate of the hall.
Things to do to prevent Corona virus
# try to stay at home all the time.
# Follow the rules and use mask when going out for emergency.
# three-layer cloth mask can be washed if desired.
# wash clothes after coming home from outside. Or hang it without shaking for at least four hours.
# Wash hands thoroughly (for at least 20 seconds) with soap or liquid before coming outside.
# plastic PPE or eyes, face, head must be washed thoroughly with detergent and dried after one use.
# Wear PPE made of cloth or clean as described.
# Use a head cap that completely covers the hair.
# Those who have sneeze cough should follow all the rules promulgated by the government. Also, wash hands as directed before and after handling food items, keys, switches, mice, remote controls, mobiles, watches, computer desks, TVs, etc. and after using the bathroom. Those who have dry hands use Moisture after washing their hands. Soap or hand liquid can be used. Why can this virus remain in the crackle (cracked part) of dry hands? Avoid using highly alkaline soaps or detergents.
