The Dhaka Times Desk HSC and equivalent exams are starting today (Sunday). This year 12 lakh 18 thousand 628 students are participating in this examination.

Reportedly, this year's examinees who participated under the Board of General Education include:
10 lakh 20 thousand 109 people in HSC.
91 thousand 591 Alims under Madrasa Board.
1 lakh 2 thousand 132 people under technical board.
4 thousand 796 in DIBS (Diploma in Business Studies).
It is known that in this exam first multiple choice (MCQ) and then compositional (theory) test will be conducted. However, it has been informed that there will be a break of 10 minutes between both the exams.
This examination will be held in 2 thousand 452 centers in a total of 8 thousand 533 educational institutions. 262 candidates are participating in 7 centers abroad this time.
This year, 36 papers in 19 subjects will be tested in a creative manner. The theory (written) exam will end on June 9 and the practical exam will begin on June 11 and end on June 20.
Meanwhile, all security arrangements have been made for the examination. Law enforcement forces will be deployed to provide security at each center.
