Zuckerberg said, 'We think it's going to be the fastest artificial intelligence supercomputer in the world. It has been named AI Research Supercluster or RSC for short.
The AI Research Supercluster (RSC) is expected to work with neural networks with trillions of parameters in the coming days. The number of parameters in neural network models is increasing rapidly. For example, the natural language processor GPT-3 also has 175 billion parameters. Such sophisticated AI is also expected to increase over time.
RSC will also help Meta create new neural networks. This will enable real-time voice translation for a large group of users. In the metaverse where AI-powered applications and other services will play an important role.
The business of social media is now a history. Zuckerberg's goal in the future is the Metaverse. The English translation of the word 'Meta' can be called Beyond. That is, creating a second world outside our world is the main goal of Meta. In the future, everything from entertainment to work will be through that virtual world, experts believe.
