In a report, Xinhua news agency quoted the Israeli media as saying that the workers of some Jewish organizations were called to enter the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, this program is scheduled to run from Thursday morning to afternoon.
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the protesters' plans to raise Israeli flags and sing the Israeli national anthem in mosques. The country's foreign ministry said in a statement that these actions will further confuse the situation and are a reflection of the Israeli government's efforts to implement plans to perpetuate the occupation.
The Security Council is called upon to take the necessary measures to press for an end to Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people.
Hussein al-Sheikh, a member of the Palestine Liberation Organization's executive committee, also called the extremists' plan a "horrendous disregard for the feelings of Palestinians, Arabs and Muslims and a continuation of extremist racist propaganda."
The Israeli government, on the other hand, has not commented on the extremists' call.
