However, by then the fifth day of the game had arrived. In the end, England scored 206 runs after losing 5 wickets.
Shane Watson was Man of the Match for scoring maximum runs. And England's Ian Bell and Australia's Ryan Harris got the Man of the Series award as a reward for showing their excellent batting and bowling performances throughout the series.
The first T20 match of the two-match T20 series will be held on October 29.
