The Dhaka Times Desk More than 700 students from various universities have been selected in the preliminary stage to participate in the final competition of one of the country's tech carnival Ruet CSC Fest 2022.
More than 2000 meritorious students from more than 70 universities of the country had registered to participate in this competition. Judges selected more than seven hundred students for the final competition based on participants' projects and ideas.
Huawei, one of the world's leading information and communication technology service providers, is the technology partner of this competition.
This year the Ruet CSE Fest 2022 competition is divided into eight segments. The segments are: Inter-University Programming, Tech Projects, Idea/Poster Development, Line Follower Robot Making, Gaming, Tech Photo Exhibition, Quiz Competition and Workshops organized with IEEE. The registration process for this competition was opened from last April 16. Students of various universities spontaneously participate in this competition to acquire new skills.
The winners of this competition will be announced on June 4; Where the Vice Chancellor of Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology Professor Dr. will be present as the chief guest. Md. Rafiqul Islam Sheikh and teachers from various reputed universities are expected to be present.
About this competition, Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology, Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department head professor Dr. Md. Al Mamun said, "I am overwhelmed by the spontaneous participation of students from different universities of the country in this carnival. Their participation exceeded our expectations. Students participated in the competition with innovative ideas. The youth of today will lead the country in the future; So it is our responsibility to take necessary initiatives to guide these potential youths in the right direction.
