The Dhaka Times Desk 71-year-old author Nancy Cripton Brophy wrote a novel called 'How to Murder Your Husband'. Then a US court sentenced her to life in prison for shooting her husband!
According to a report by the British media BBC, last May, writer Brophy was found guilty of shooting her husband to death.
On June 2, 2018, the bullet-ridden body of Brophy's husband, Daniel, was found in the kitchen of the Oregon Culinary Institute. Daniel was shot in the back, which went through the heart.
Investigators said Brophy bought a gun from an online marketplace. He used it for murder. But what investigators say is most remarkable is that Nancy murdered her husband, a story found in her novel.
Brophy had written two books before 'How to Murder Your Husband'. 'The Wrong Husband' and 'Hell on a Heart'. Murder, crime, betrayal and sex are the main themes in all of Nancy's novels.
