The Dhaka Times Desk At the same time with the teachers, several incidents have made everyone think. The pattern of events in the last few days is much the same.
After the announcement of the inauguration of the Padma Bridge, several incidents took place in the country. One of which was the fire incident in Chittagong's Sitakunda. At that time, several other fires occurred in the country. Fires occurred in two consecutive trains. That is why these incidents are seen as sabotage. Those things have almost stopped now though. Because after the completion of the Padma Setu inauguration ceremony, those issues have been buried a lot.
However, even if the incidents of fire have the smell of vandalism, the attack on teachers has given a new thought. Although such an incident cannot be said to be sabotage. But still the question comes. Especially the worst things like beating to death of teachers in Savar, garlanding the shoes of teachers in Narail happened at the same time. Also happened in Rajshahi University. In Rajshahi University, the teacher was assaulted during the class of law department. How can the onset of similar events around the same time be considered a coincidence?
The first incident came to light on April 1. It happened in Shariatpur. A teacher of that institution was beaten or assaulted by the Chhatra League president of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Government College branch of Shariatpur.
But the next 3 incidents happened at the same time. A teacher was beaten to death by a student in Savar. Later, the police arrested the accused Chate Jitu's father when there was an outcry against it across the country. Then the accused Jitu was arrested from Gazipur yesterday.
Another viral video shows a man walking through hundreds of police and people with a shoelace around his neck and hands raised in apology.
In the incident of putting a shoe necklace around the neck of Narail college principal in front of the police, every sane person is wounded by the anger, shame and humiliation in the hearts of the people of the whole country.
Asiq Ullah, a Master's student of the same department, was accused of assaulting the teacher during the class of Rajshahi University (Rabi) Law Department. The university administration temporarily expelled the accused student in this incident.
The incident took place on Wednesday (June 29) around 11:30 a.m. in a classroom of the law department of the university's Rabindranath Tagore Academic Building. The victim is the teacher. Begum Asma is a senior professor in the law department of Siddiqui University.
According to eyewitnesses, during the fourth year class of the law department, Ashiq approached the teacher regarding his Master's examination. Then he told the student, 'These are not my issues, these are the department chairman's issues.' Saying this, when he wanted to leave the class, the student Ashiq Ullah closed the door of the class. Due to this, the students inside the class got angry and took the teacher to the department chairman's room.
Immediately protesting this incident, the students took a position in front of the department demanding the permanent expulsion of the accused student from the university. Later in the afternoon, in the face of students' agitation and demands, the student was temporarily expelled subject to the report of the University Disciplinary Committee and the Syndicate to protect the fair environment of the university.
But at the same time, the same kind of attack on teachers has made the whole nation think. Although these are not matters of political revenge.

A teacher named Aminur Rahman. However, even after two months, the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education has not taken any action in this regard. The accused employee, Syed Liaquat Ali, is also serving in Bhal Tabiya. The officers of the department also expressed their anger for not taking disciplinary action against him. The incident of assaulting the teacher was published in the education affairs national newspaper Daily Usm Barta and the digital newspaper Daily Shiksha.com. But Director General Nehal Ahmed expressed his anger as it was not implemented. In the monthly coordination meeting held last Monday, the Director General wanted to know, 'Why was the hand raised on the teacher who came to work in the education building? Why Liaquat went to assault two other teachers? Who are they? Why action was not taken against Liaquat. He was supposed to be transferred out of Dhaka as the first step of punishment.
