It is known that a Canadian architectural firm called Moon World Resort Corporation (MWR) has taken the initiative to build the resort. Co-founders Sandra G. Matthews and Michael R. Henderson said the proposed resort would have a building height of 735 feet, or 224 meters. This luxury resort will be built at a cost of 5 billion dollars.
The construction of the resort is expected to be completed within the next 48 months. At least 1 crore visitors can travel to this luxurious and elite resort built in the shape of the moon every year. The special advantage of Moon World Resort is that the visitors will get the feeling of traveling on the surface of the moon. Because there will also be a place called Lunar Colony. The resort welcomes 2.5 million travelers throughout the year to experience a trip to the moon. The Moon World Resort in Dubai will have 'Sky Villas', which will give the feeling of living in the lunar habitat. Apart from this, the resort will have modern and elite facilities including spa, night club, conference room, lounge, private accommodation for the visitors.
The building will also be used by space agencies and astronauts for training purposes. The building will be designed and constructed using the latest techniques and technologies in architecture and engineering.
Entrepreneurs hope that the Moon World Resort will add a new dimension to the economy of the United Arab Emirates. Apart from Dubai, MWR plans to build 3 more moon-style luxury resorts in Europe, North America and Asia.
