Russia wanted to attack Japan!

The Dhaka Times Desk Russia was preparing to attack Japan a few months before the attack in Ukraine, that is, in 2021! A member of the country's Central Security Agency (FSB) gave this information.

The FSB agent disclosed the information in an e-mail sent to Vladimir Osechkin, a Russian human rights activist. News from Republic World.

Igor Sushko, executive director of the Washington-based nonprofit Wind of Change Research Group, translated the Russian-language e-mails into English. He later gave them to US-based online magazine Newsweek.

In an e-mail sent to Osechkin in March, the FSB member wrote that Russia was preparing to engage in military conflict with Japan over the Kuril Islands. However, after a few months, Russia decided to launch an operation in Ukraine.
