The mosque you see is the historic Khan Mohammad Mridha Mosque in the capital Dhaka. The mosque has an impression of historicity.
This mosque was built by Khan Mohammad Mridha in 1704 to 1705 under the orders of Kazi Abdullah during the reign of Mughal ruler Naib Nazim. This 3-domed mosque is built on a platform about 17 feet high from the ground. This magnificent mosque with 4 minarets still bears witness to the Mughal nobility. Just half a kilometer away from the Lalbagh Fort, this walled mosque epitomizes the majesty of the Lalbagh Fort.
