Industrial designer Maxime Leafvery and motorbike manufacturer Yamaha are about to bring such technology to market. The name of that motorcycle is XT 500 H2ZERO.
Maxim Leafvery has also released a concept image of a water-powered two-wheeler. The sketch of the bike was first shared with Yamaha in 2016. Then all the accessory works started from the engine frame development of the bike under the initiative of Yamaha. At present, the final concept image of the same has been released by Maxim Liffery.
This bike is considered by many to be the reincarnation of Yamaha's enduro-adventure bike XT500 from the seventies. However, it is believed that the upcoming Yamaha XT 500 H2O Edition bike may have a closed loop H2O motor.
According to media reports, the speed of the 499cc four stroke single cylinder engine motorcycle was 160 km per hour. The RX T 500 H2Zero Edition bike will have a water pump. This pump will also provide propulsion to the engine by circulating the water. There will be no risk of environmental pollution with water powered motorbikes. A motorcycle owner will not have to worry about fuel.
Many people can ask that, how much is actually possible to keep the bike running with water? A man in Brazil has built a motorcycle that runs on water. The motorbike built by Ricardo Azaveda runs on water. He rides his bike in plain drinking water.
If indeed Yamaha manages to bring the bike to the market, it will undoubtedly create a buzz in the market as well as open a new horizon in terms of technology. However, this bike is unlikely to hit the market before 2025.
