The mosque you see is Masjid-e-Siraj ud-Daula in Chittagong. This mosque is a historical mosque.
Masjid-e-Siraj ud-Daula (also known as Chandanpura Jame Masjid) is a mosque located on the Chandanpura section of Nawab Siraj ud-Daula Road, Chawkbazar Ward No. 16 under Chittagong City Corporation, Bangladesh.
According to the history of the mosque, in 1666, Shaista Khar's army liberated Chittagong from the Magharajads of Arakan. Then many mosques were built here under his orders.
Among which Masjid-e-Siraj ud-Daula is one of them. In 1946, a person named Master Abdul Hamid started rebuilding and renovating the mosque. In 1950, his eldest son Abu Sayyid Dubhash completed the renovation of the mosque.
This mosque has a total of 15 domes. The construction of the largest dome required 15 maunds of silver and brass worth about 4 lakh rupees at that time.
