The Dhaka Times Desk As part of Mobile World Congress 2023, Huawei will work with UNESCO's Global Alliance for Literacy (GAL) to play a role in developing young talent worldwide.
The announcement was made at the Digital Talent Summit jointly organized by Huawei and the Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL) – Secretariat of GAL.
At the summit, Huawei and UIL agreed to use the technology to increase signatures. They signed a co-operation agreement on the matter. Under which, Huawei will provide financial support to expand UIL's existing initiative to increase the use of technology by teachers in developing countries. UIL currently has operations in Bangladesh, Ivory Coast, Egypt and Pakistan.
At the same time, Li Peng, President of Huawei's Carrier BIG, delivered a speech at the MWC Day Zero Forum. In his speech, he discussed how 5G is unlocking the potential of an intelligent world and how new milestones can be achieved in this journey by moving towards 5.5G.
In this forum, Li Peng discussed how to move forward to create a green and intelligent world by working together with all stakeholders. He pointed out that Huawei's Guide (GUIDE) Business Blueprint will play an important role in achieving this goal.
