The historic Kusumba Masjid of Raiche Naogaon stands with a tradition of nearly four and a half hundred years. The image of this mosque is printed on five taka notes.
This mosque is located in Manda upazila of Naogaon district. Kusumba Masjid is located 400 meters north of Manda Bridge on the Rajshahi highway. Hundreds of visitors come every day to visit this mosque.
This Kusumba Mosque is an antiquities of the Sultanate period. Which is a bright sign of history and Muslim tradition of Naogaon district. The mosque is curved north-south just like a Bengali chala house. Adjacent to the mosque, there is also a large pond measuring 77 bighas on the north-south side. The dam is about 1200 feet long and about 900 feet wide. This lake is dug to meet the needs of villagers and worshipers for drinking water, bathing and ablution. The historic Kusumba Mosque has been built on the banks of this lake.
