There, the worker won a one-year leave prize in the lottery. However, the event was postponed for the past three years due to the pandemic.
This is the first such prize given in a raffle draw in the institution. The worker was shocked after receiving this award. A card written on the holiday of the award was handed over to him. A video captured during this time has gone viral on the internet.
In the video, another employee of the organization is heard asking whether the raffle draw winner would like to take a year's salary instead of vacation. The officials of the organization will sit in discussion with that person to know that.
Meanwhile, the issue of a year's leave has spread on social media. Many congratulated the man. Many did not take it well. As one wrote, 'I wish him luck. Someone else will surely do the work in his absence this year. He will be removed from the job only after returning from leave.'
But this is not the first such incident in China. Earlier, an employee of another company in Shenzhen won the same prize in a raffle draw. That also happened last year.
