The Dhaka Times Desk News of Google's brand new AI-powered search engine has emerged as Microsoft and OpenAI face several new rivals in the artificial intelligence sector.
The company is in the early stages of creating a search service that will facilitate a more personalized experience than users expect – a New York Times report said.
However, there is no clear timetable for this project. Also, Google is working on creating a new class of AI feature called Magi Code in its existing search engine.
Along with these features, Google is making a chatbot that can answer various questions about software engineering as well as create various code snippets. The company has hired more than 160 workers for the redesign, according to the Times.
Other new additions in various stages of development include a Chrome feature called SearchAlong. It will also allow the chatbot to scan different websites read by the user in order to show relevant information.
For example, when a user wants to find a place to stay on Airbnb, they can tell the chatbot what they want to see or do near the planned accommodation.
The two experimental features, called Jiffy and Tivly Tutor, will allow users to learn new languages for creating images in Google Image Search and communicating with chatbots, Engadget noted in a report.
Several of these features may have been sampled by Google in the past or are already available on other platforms such as Duolingo. For example, in the Slides app, the facility of creating images is also available.
It is believed that Google authorities are planning to announce the launch of Magi next month with the aim of introducing some additional new features in the coming autumn. This continuity suggests that it could also be seen at the 2023 I/O event.
Google aims to reach 1 million users in the US before rolling out its various features to 30 million users by the end of this year.
